“In 2015, Black Cat Sylvester teamed up with Notion Music founder Rahm Sethuraman to form Melodijé, a music tech startup with offices in Nashville and Bangalore. Specializing in studio-to-live software solutions for DJs, producers and musicians, Melodijé is currently developing the software component for Black Cat’s SynthTable, which is a music workstation that enables DJs to play any musical scale or chord while also changing effects parameters using a turntable and mixer or all-in-one DJ controller. By making SynthTable commercially available, DJs can finally make melodic statements in a variety of musical conversations without using another instrument.
